Anyone who identifies as Jewish, lives in the greater Washington, D.C. area, and is looking for a Jewish partner is eligible for our services.

We strive to be inclusive of all people who meet that criteria. We welcome people of all:

We have left this a bit up to interpretation because it is hard to set a firm geographical boundary. It is helpful to know that the vast majority of our Matchmaking Members live in DC or within commutable distance (e.g., Northern Virginia, Baltimore, Montgomery County, etc.). If you live in DC, Maryland, or Virginia, you are welcome to join.

Some of our members are willing to be matched with people who do not live in the DMV area. If you do not live in the DMV but would be interested in matching with daters here, fill out the contact form and let us know where you live! Right now we are focused on growing the DMV database but we would like to track interest in other areas and will reach out with next steps when we are ready.

There is a one-time initiation fee that covers your comprehensive intake and first match - $54 for the next 54 people who sign up! From there, you pay $36/month (or $144/6 months) for your matchmaking membership, which includes receiving matches, exclusive event invitations, discounts on open events, and a monthly email newsletter.

We offer discounts on the monthly rate for full-time students and federal workers who were laid off. We also offer gift cards so a loved one could cover costs for you - you’re welcome, Jewish mothers!

Fill out the interest form and you will receive your welcome email with instructions. The next steps are to pay the initiation fee, fill out your intake form, and schedule your intake session. During your intake session, you will meet with a matchmaker over video chat for about 45 minutes to get to know you and what you are looking for.

Once you have completed your intake, you decide when you’re ready to become a Matchmaking Member. Matchmaking Members pay a monthly fee to be in the database and receive matches. When we have a match for you, you will receive a text connecting you to your match. You and your match take it from there! 

Matchmaking Members also have the opportunity to meet a roomful of potential matches at private events.

We don’t provide a guaranteed number of matches because we aim to provide quality over quantity. If there are not enough options in our database who align with what you are looking for, we will let you know and pause your membership until there are more options.

Many daters are feeling burnt out from the apps and don’t feel comfortable or haven’t found success asking out someone they meet in person.

A matchmaker gives you access to people you might not meet on your own and who are handpicked for you based on a deep understanding of your needs. You may also be matched with someone you have met before but didn’t know would be a good fit for you.

Dating can be isolating and draining. We’re here to support you and cheer you on along the way!

The most common model of matchmaking involves charging thousands of dollars to a small number of people to work with them intensively.

Luv with Lev uses a community-based model – we charge a lower rate to a large number of people to build a database that expands your pool of options and increases the quality of the matches we provide for you. 

In addition to facilitating direct matches, we also host both open and exclusive events, increasing the chances of you meeting potential partners.
